Water and sewerage service and solid and liquid waste management
CIPNES-Gallura pursues institutionally, on the basis of Regional Law no. 10/08, the economic-social development of the territory, paying important attention to the construction and management of common plants for the services supply of collective interest to the entrepreneurial system, particularly in the environmental and energy sectors.
This section of our website is dedicated to the consortium infrastructure specifications of the environmental sector:
- the infrastructural platform dedicated to the treatment, recovery and, residually, disposal of urban and special non-hazardous waste coming mainly from the territorial area of the former province of Olbia Tempio;
- the plant for the treatment of lignocellulosic, mowing and pruning waste, located in Loc. Spiritu Santu in Olbia, a plant acquired by CIPNES - Gallura in April 2018 from the company Sarda Compost S.r.l., whose function is to transform "lignocellulosic" organic waste and vegetable waste in general into compost (green compost soil improver or simple non-composted soil improver) or biomass.
- the industrial wastewater purification and liquid waste treatment plant of the production plants, located in Loc. Cala Cocciani in the consortium industrial area in Olbia;
- the water purification plant for industrial and domestic use located within the consortium industrial area of Olbia, serving the consortium production district and the territory in general.
