- Definitions and characteristics of cookies
Cookies and related technologies are information that sites and apps send or read on your devices the first time you visit them, only to be retransmitted to the same sites and apps the next time you visit them. Because of these technologies, sites and apps remember actions and preferences (such as login details, language preference, font size, other display settings, etc.) so that they don't have to be shown again the next time you visit them.
These technologies are used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring and storage of information regarding the activities of users accessing a service and may also contain a unique identification code that allows you to track your navigation within the site for statistical or advertising purposes.
In fact, there are different types of cookies that, depending on their characteristics and functions, may persist on your device for different periods of time: so-called session cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close the browser; and so-called persistent cookies, which remain on your device until a preset time.
Your prior consent is required for non-anonymous "analytical" cookies and profiling cookies, e.g. those that provide statistical analysis on the use of a website or that create user profiles to send advertising messages in line with the preferences they have expressed during navigation.

This means that when the user closes his browser the cookies are automatically deleted and disappear, without remaining stored on the computer. They are formed by random numbers generated by the server and are used to allow safe and efficient exploration of the Site.
These cookies do not require the user's prior and express consent as they are strictly necessary to provide the service requested by the user of the Site (ex art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code).Cookies di profilazione
