flyer inaugurazione porto cervo 1 page 0001Over 500 visitors - including guests and producers from all over Sardinia – have been registered on Friday 28 June in the Marina of Porto Cervo at the inauguration of the new promotional unit of the INSULA regional network (direct emanation of Cipnes Gallura), the permanent institutional development platform and territorial marketing for the aggregation, growth, innovation and internationalization of the identity production chains of Sardinia.

The new Cipnes Gallura promotional hub was created in collaboration with the Municipality of Arzachena and the support of Smeralda Holding, the company that owns the Costa Smeralda represented in Porto Cervo by CEO Mario Ferraro.

After the greetings of the Mayor of Arzachena Roberto Ragnedda, the Regional Assessor for Tourism Gianni Chessa (who is not worth missing at the appointment, despite numerous institutional commitments) has shown appreciation "for this type of initiatives that have the aim of making system the Sardinia product, in a location like Costa Smeralda which represents a fixed point in the panorama of the highest level hospitality ". According to the Councilor "seaside tourism is fine, but we cannot overlook internal areas. It will be my purpose during my mandate to make up for that. In the meantime, I applaud the initiative of Cipnes of Olbia which, through Insula, protects and promotes the productive and artisan excellence of Sardinia ".

Massimo Masia, head of the Agri-Food division of Cipnes and Insula project responsible, explained the various steps that led towards the opening of the hub “in Porto Cervo, capital of the Costa Smeralda. There could not be a more suitable location– emphasized Masia – to underline the strategic importance of an event that aims to make known in this context not only the identitarian products of the agro-food industry but also art, fashion, folklore and design of Sardinia”.

In this regard, the Cipnes wanted to highlight, in the number 0 of “Insula Magazine”, edited by the Communication Office of the institution, the historical and traditional agri-food aspects and the riches of our land, without forgetting to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Costa Smeralda.

After the cutting of the ribbon by the Mayor of Arzachena, the President of Cipnes Mario Gattu and the Director Aldo Carta and the blessing of the premises by the parish priest of Porto Cervo, Don Raimondo        Satta, the show cooking could start with the partecipation of the Insula’s chef who proposed a strictly Sardinian menu. Guests stayed until late at night and also enjoyed both the wide range of wines and the works of craftsmen who crowded the small square of the Marina.

Porto Cervo’s facility is added to the units already activated inside the Forte Village Resort in Pula, the Moby and Tirrenia ships (routes Cagliari - Civitavecchia, Olbia - Livorno and Olbia - Genoa), and in Hotel Abi d 'Oru di Porto Rotondo.

National presentation of Sardinia Quality World: INSULA in Milan on 31 January and 1 February 2019

 

social SQWCIPNES-Gallura, as part of the "INSULA" territorial marketing programme dedicated to the promotion of Sardinia's identity supply chains (agrifood, artistic craftsmanship, fashion and design), has organised, in collaboration with the regional agency LAORE and the Regional Department of Industry, a national event to present the Sardinia Quality World programme (the programme for the promotion of Sardinia's certified quality production chains).

The promotional action took place on 31 January and 1 February 2019 in Milan, at the offices of Immobilsarda in the very central Via Visconti di Modrone n.29 (not far from Piazza San Babila). During the event, the management of the Agrifood and Territorial Marketing Division of our company met the operators of the national and international distribution system (Ho.Re.Ca. and retail channel). 

The balance is definitely positive: on the first day, thanks to the partnership with the Laore Sardegna Agency (which is part of the Department of Agriculture), the Sardinia Quality World programme was presented, while on the second day, the theme of the internalization of Sardinia Longevity Food SMEs was developed, promoted by the network of companies of the same name and financed by the Regional Department of Industry. 

The Cipnes, whose delegation was led by the president Mario Gattu, the general manager Aldo Carta and the head of the Food-Insula division Massimo Masia, has developed an important and qualified series of meetings with commercial operators (Agorà, Sogegross, Carrefour, Metro, Finiper, Coop Switzerland, Migros and others) and stakeholders operating in Sardinia in the tourism-receptive sector such as Smeralda Holding (represented by ad Mario Ferraro) and the Costa Smeralda Consortium (present the president Renzo Persico). The municipal administration of Arzachena, headed by the mayor Roberto Ragnedda and the president of the municipal council Rino Cudoni, also participated in the events, also in view of the opening of the Sardinia Village in Porto Cervo, scheduled before the summer of 2019.

"The double appointment in Milan - explained Mario Gattu and Massimo Masia - has served us to establish targeted relationships with sector operators, and the guests particularly appreciated our program, based on the story of identity values, places and production excellence of Sardinia, and the close relationship with longevity. The path to the completion of our objectives has not yet been completed, but the Insula network is increasingly taking shape, waiting for the opening of Expo Sardegna, in an industrial area. We - concluded Gattu and Masia - continue to believe in Sardinia that produces and invests in the future".

SIAL Paris: huge crowd at the INSULA stand

Great success at the Sial Fair in Paris (21 - 25 October 2018) for the Insula exhibition stand and for the Sardinian companies associated to the regional program for internationalization "INSULA - Sardinia Longevity Food".

Particularly crowded the show cooking events where the Insula chefs have created traditional Sardinian dishes and proposed the menus made with certified traditional products (DOC, DOCG, DOP, IGP, BIO).

Insula lands in Paris: the network of Sardinian ambassadors is born

 

Invito SIAL INSULA 001The Agrifood and Cipnes Gallura Territorial Marketing Division, together with the Sardinian companies associated with the regional program for internationalization "INSULA - Sardinia Longevity Food", will be present at Sial Paris from 21 to 25 October 2018 (https://www.sialparis.com/), with a promotional area dedicated to the presentation of the food and wine excellence of our land.

The promotional stand INSULA - Sardinia Longevity Food will be set up in Hall 1, Stand 1 D 141, inside zone 1 C 142, and personalized through the setting up of promotional-exhibition formats. The hosts will be the Cipnes president, Mario Gattu, and Massimo Masia, head of the agrifood and territorial marketing division.

On the occasion of the Parisian Fair, considered the first worldwide network of agrifood exhibitions, will be presented through the information and animation activities (show cooking), the promotion and internationalization program of the quality production chains of the island "Sardinia Quality World".

During the event, the updated contents of the INSULA territorial marketing platform that Cipnes is implementing in the Gulf of Olbia, will be illustrated in order to support the promotional and distribution activities of the controlled supply chain productions of Sardinia at national and international level. This has been possbile through a program agreement with the Region.

Sial in Paris brings together all the most important operators (producers and buyers) around the great world challenges of the agri-food industry. For Cipnes, this is a strategic phase in the internationalization program also to support the birth of a network of Sardinian Ambassadors in the world, operators of excellence in the HoReCa channel (international hotels and restaurants) and Retail gourmets interested in the inclusion of certified quality products of our land in their commercial offer and to propose in their menus dishes prepared through the gastronomic transformation of certified sardinan productions (DOC, DOCG, DOP, IGP, BIO).

Sardinia Quality World, great success for the Cipnes initiative

The event organized by Cipnes Gallura on 5 October at the Cervo Conference Center in Porto Cervo was a great success, during which, through the Insula territorial marketing platform, has been presented the "Sardinia Quality World " programme.   The purpose of the meeting was to sensitize the accommodation companies owners in Sardinia to increase the consumption of products of the certified Sardinian identity chain.

Lassessore CariaAfter the greetings to the large and qualified audience of the Mayor of Arzachena Roberto Ragnedda, there were the Massimo Masia reports, head of the Agrifood and Territorial Marketing division of Cipnes and of Maria Ibba, general manager of the Laore Regional Agency.

The following round table, coordinated by the journalist Augusto Ditel was attended by the director of Enit (National Agency of Tourism) Giovanni Bastianelli, the Regional Councilors for Tourism, Barbara Argiolas and Agriculture Pierluigi Caria, Massimiliano Troncia (Federalberghi), Antonio Mura representing the Consortium for the Tutelage of the Sardinian Pecorino and the ”Fiore Sardo” and finally Leonardo Tilocca, for the Consortium of Pecorino Romano.

All the speakers were in favour of increasing the Sardinian products consumption in the hotels of the island through a greater and more effective collaboration between the individual subjects.

At 1.30 pm the show cooking was started during which the chef Pierluigi Fais proposed a series of traditional Sardinian dishes (Culurgiones and the roast beef with the Red Ox meat), as well as cold cuts, cheeses and confectionery products selection rigorously from Sardinia.

During the afternoon there was also space for the workshop with producers who join the Insula network. The event was covered with adequate space by the major island media and Mediaset.
