The public territorial marketing platform "INSULA- Sardinia Enterprise P.T.E." was created as a technical-operational structure in support of the entire regional production system that aims to sustain the various organizational structures of the region of Sardinia in order to ensure an efficient and shared implementation of the institutional program "Aggregation, Promotion, Development and Internationalization of the identity production chains of the island and its territories", coordinated by the Agrifood and Territorial Marketing Division of CIPNES Gallura (implementing entity).

In this perspective, an articulated virtuous process of active involvement of the various categories of local and regional institutional actors has been activated to encourage the contribution of different knowledge and skills in the process of planning and designing the strategic contents of the INSULA Programme in order to strengthen the sense of belonging on the part of all those who will be the "actors - protagonists" in the implementation phase of the programme itself.

In particular, interinstitutional agreements have been signed with the various economic-entrepreneurial trade associations that express the productive fabric of the Sardinian territory in such a way as to optimize and calibrate the provision of real services that effectively meet the needs of aggregation, qualification, promotion and internationalization of regional SMEs, and aimed at promoting the culture of innovation and competitiveness of Sardinian companies.

As part of the programme for the promotion and enhancement of identity production chains and rural and coastal districts in Sardinia, cooperation agreements have been signed with GAL, Unions of Municipalities and FLAG-GAC in order to activate and develop forms of participatory planning and thus ensure different design solutions and services for different territorial areas, according to the territorial approach to local development prescribed by the European Union, which promotes the bottom-up development of local communities and their resources.

Through the agreements with the GAL in particular, it will enhance the entire regional territorial heritage in which the knowledge, flavours, traditions, naturalistic-environmental and historical-cultural riches contained in Sardinian agri-food production are born, to which they give quality contents guarded by the operators who still today represent a precious defense of the rich rural areas of the island.

Cooperation agreements have been signed, and others are in the process of being defined, with the various councillorships and public agencies of the Sardinia Region. These are aimed at defining and strengthening a shared process of institutional qualification of the Public Territorial Marketing Platform INSULA as an infrastructure directly related to the enhancement and optimization of the main supply chains of the Sardinian territory according to an integrated approach with local and regional tourism systems, in close coordination with the strategies for tourism and rural districts developed and implemented by the island.

A specific administrative agreement is currently being defined with the Laore Agency to activate the most appropriate forms of institutional collaboration in order to promote, organize and manage in partnership initiatives aimed at enhancing quality agricultural and food production and the integrated development of rural districts in Sardinia, supporting forms of aggregation between businesses to promote competitiveness on the markets.

As part of its internationalization plan "Sardinia Longevity World", as an implementation tool of the wider and more articulated INSULA Strategic Territorial Marketing Programme, specific partnership and cooperation agreements have recently been signed with the Regional Department of Labour, the Municipality of Arzachena and the "Forte Village" Resort in Pula.

By virtue of the cooperation agreement signed with the Regional Department of Labour, the INSULA Platform intends to contribute to the promotion and internationalization of Sardinia with its unique territorial riches, through the active involvement of the sardinian organized communities around the world recognized by the R.A.S., which could play the strategic role of "excellence ambassadors" of Sardinia outside the regional borders.

The agreements signed with the municipality of Arzachena and the "Forte Village" resort, on the other hand, provide for the activation of the territorial network of "satellite" temporary stores called "INSULA-Sardinia Village", located in the main access hubs of the island and in areas of strategic tourist importance (ports and airports, hotel and resort chains, marinas). These latter will act as technical-operational promotional units capable of intercepting the mainly international target of incoming and transit tourists to whom the attractions and related tourist products of Sardinia can be told.

Through these agreements, the INSULA Platform will be the institutional hub of permanent connection between the qualified offer of the Sardinian production system and the potential markets at regional demand, national and international level, stimulating and supporting sustainable development processes thanks to the synergic coordination with the Sardinia Region to carry out qualified marketing, communication and promotion activities for the island aimed at qualifying regional companies through a coordinated promotional system that is as participatory, inclusive and shared as possible.
